Meet the passionate educators joining us on our journey to make learning fun
Hi! I'm Rudra Agarwal. I will be facilitating Chemistry, STEM, for IGCSE, AS & A levels (Grades 11 & 12)
Trained as a simulation scientist, specializing in quantum mechanical calculations for small molecules (less than 100 atoms), I also have a deep interest in other fields like History, Systems Design, Linguists, and Anthropology to name a few.
I freelanced as a writer and filmmaker while studying chemistry, and later got to work on projects like "Secrets of Sinauli" and "Extreme Tech: Corridor to Kashmir". I spent the year 2022 working as a narrative designer for a gaming startup.
Learning and innovation involve a great deal of risk taking on part of the learner, so a safe environment is essential. I generally prefer an approach of empathy and humor to make my students feel safe and at ease in the classroom. I had heard wonderful things about the pedagogy and philosophy of the school from a former collaborator.
Hi! I am Dr. Nandini Singhal & I will be facilitating English and EVS Primary Grades..
I describe myself as a passionate educator and a professional dentist. I did my Bachelors and Masters in Dentistry from Mangalore and Chennai respectively. I explored the space of teaching in the dental schools as an Associate Professor for 10 years since 2009 and have a strong inclination towards science and practical hands-on approaches to learning. A trained Bharatnatyam dancer, I also provide Bharatnatyam classes. I feel as a facilitator, we need to get down at the root level, tap the inquisitiveness and nurture the intellect of learners. I believe in creating a conducive and stimulating environment to instil love for learning at their own pace.
Hi! I am Neha Mandal. I have joined Prakriti as IGS facilitator.
I am passionate about studying the society and culture through ages. Prehistoric art, language, monuments and museums fascinate me. I have an M.Phil. degree in History and I have a few months left to submit my Ph.D. thesis.
I have worked as an educator at University level and worked extensively in developing History textbooks for various courses taught at university level. I aspire to bring my love for History to the school children in the form of stories, art and inquiry based discussions for them to be able to understand, ponder, inquire and question various important aspects of our present, past and future. I believe in a learner-centric approach to teaching based on the idea that each learner is unique, I aspire to take into account each of their needs and assets thus stimulating them to learn in their own ways, facilitating knowledge as well as happiness. That, for me is the key for their growth in multiple dimensions; be it social, emotional and academic.
Hello! I am Swati Sharma and I will taking care of Indian and Western Music at Prakriti.
I was a good accounting student during my schooling days, but my destiny took me on a different path when I was lucky enough to learn various forms of performing arts from childhood.
I have pursued a variety of music courses in Indian and Western music, including Sangeet Prabhakar, Sangeet Bhaskar, and Grade 6 in Western singing from Trinity College, London. What I love most about my journey in music is that there is no end to it—I'm still learning!
I have a passion for understanding the diverse mindsets of learners across different age groups. I enjoy hearing their 'out of the box' thinking and ideas, and I find joy in shaping these ideas in a way that helps them achieve their goals.
The loving, caring, and responsible learners at Prakriti motivated me to learn more about their learning space. As I was looking to work with student-centered institutes, I found Prakriti to be absolutely relevant to what I was seeking. Prakriti reflects my style of living, and I am excited to learn more about it.
Hello! I'm Prerna Sirohi, and I'll be facilitating English for Grade 6, 7, and 8 at Prakriti.
My educational background includes being Convent educated with a Master's in English. Additionally, I am a certified Yoga teacher and hold a Diploma in Fine Arts.
Teaching, to me, is not just about imparting knowledge but also about creating a happy and safe place for learners. It's a journey of mutual growth and learning, where I strive to grow alongside my students, understanding their perspectives and adapting to their needs.
Prakriti, with its ethos, resonates deeply with me. I see it as a place that strikes a perfect balance, providing world-class education while also nurturing our cultural values. I believe in the holistic development of students, where academics are just a part of the learning experience, and socio-emotional growth is equally important.
I am excited about the opportunity to be a part of the Prakriti community and look forward to contributing to the growth and development of our learners.
I am Kunal Kumar Sah, a Math and Social Development professional embarking on a new journey as the Middle School (IGCSE) Math facilitator..
With more than ten years of experience, I've journeyed through both classrooms and content development, contributing my skills to various social sector organizations in the space of education. My academic background is as diverse as my interests. Armed with an MBA, a Masters in Development from Azim Premji University, and a B.Eng. in Computer Science, I thrive on blending technical know-how with a deep passion for education, especially for the school math.
Outside of work, I'm a tech enthusiast, always exploring the latest technologies and local gadgets that catch my eye. Apart from that, I am constantly delving into indigenous knowledge about traditional recipes, customs, Ayurveda, festivals, languages and various types of occupations. This exploration isn't just a hobby; it's an integral part of who I am.
My name is Vijay Laxmi and I'll be teaching Hindi in the primary grades this year..
I am so excited to get to know you and the learners throughout the year! Teaching is my life's passion, and I have been instructing learners of all ages for 10 years. My years of experience as a teacher have shaped a teaching philosophy that guides how I help my learners succeed in the classroom and beyond. I truly believe that their success begins with making them comfortable in the classroom, so I start our school year with activities so everyone can get to know one another. I encourage them to share their questions and opinions in an unbiased and open environment. I strive to create a space for students to explore their own learning styles, then I'm there to help develop their interests and guide their absorption of the material.
