Welcoming New Members to Prakriti
New year begins with new colleagues complementing the team with their enthusiasm and experience.
Hello! I'm Sumayya Khan, and I'm thrilled to join you! I will facilitate learning of Mathematics in the middle school.
I bring a unique blend of academic and practical experience to the classroom. With Masters degrees in both Mathematics and Education, and a PhD in Mathematics Education, I've spent over a decade working across diverse educational landscapes, including a large, progressive school.
My journey has taken me from university lecture halls to social sector initiatives focused on teacher training, and even into the dynamic world of EdTech. However, my passion has always been rooted in making mathematics accessible and engaging for all learners.
I believe that learning mathematics should be a journey of discovery, not a source of fear. Mistakes are not failures, but valuable opportunities for growth. My teaching philosophy emphasizes creating a nurturing environment where we learn from our errors, fostering a deep connection with the subject, the learner, and ourselves.
I'm particularly drawn to Prakriti’s commitment to empathy, sensitivity, and the joy of learning. I believe in the power of collaborative learning and the positive energy that arises when we share our knowledge and experiences.
I'm eager to connect with each of you and to create a vibrant, engaging mathematics learning environment. Let's explore the world of numbers together!

I joined Prakriti two months ago, curious to see its philosophy in practice. Over the past three months, I've felt deeply connected to this community and am eager to contribute to our shared learning journey.
Hello Prakriti family! I'm Anupama Saini, and I'm overjoyed to have joined you as the facilitator for the Yellow Group (Senior KG).
With a decade of experience teaching young children, primarily in primary grades, I bring a wealth of practical knowledge to our classroom. My training in Early Childhood Education allows me to understand and cater to the specific developmental needs of this age group.
My academic background is equally diverse. I hold postgraduate degrees in Computers (E-commerce) and Human Resources, which equip me with unique skills. My computer background helps me integrate technology into engaging lessons, while my HR knowledge enhances my communication, teamwork, and classroom management abilities.
I'm a firm believer in creativity as a catalyst for learning. I strive to create fun, engaging experiences that build strong foundations for our children. My philosophy centers on connecting with each child first, as this fosters a comfortable and productive learning environment. I'm committed to creating a warm, creative, and nurturing space where curiosity and confidence flourish.
Prakriti's natural, child-friendly approach resonates deeply with my own teaching beliefs. The school's emphasis on organic, hands-on learning aligns perfectly with my desire to give children the freedom to explore and grow at their own pace. I'm excited to embark on this journey with the Yellow Group and the entire Prakriti community.

Hello! I am Aashita and I coordinate the well-being efforts for the learners in Prakriti.
Namaste! I'm Anuradha and I'm delighted to have joined Prakriti as Mathematics facilitator for Primary Grades.
For over ten years, I've guided students through the fascinating world of mathematics, and I'm looking forward to bringing passion and experience to the classrooms.

Its emphasis on hands-on learning, real-world connections, and value-based education aligns perfectly with my vision of making mathematics a subject of discovery and joy. I'm keen to foster curiosity, creativity, and confidence in students, helping them discover the beauty and power of mathematics. Let's embark on this exciting journey of learning together!
